FSDS2 Vickers Viking LTU v 1.0 for FS2004 & 2002. 02.06.2004
The flight dynamics are a compromise between FS2002 & 2004 at this time but will be
improved when I find out what got changed for FS2004 to effect the pitch & Drag.
Vickers Valetta panel & Default Cessna sound used in this file.
A proper Panel & Sounds are in progress but not ready yet.
In FS2002 use the panel of your choice.
I use the default DC3 panel & sounds in FS2004 at the moment.
1 model! to save space & complication (use the "O" key to turn on the big prop spinners .
(I will find a better switch for this function).
The Vickers Viking was very hard to balance!,
The crew could not enter an empty aircraft until some of the passengers had boarded to avoid the aircraft tipping onto it's nose.
Ground Handling!
you cannot taxi round at 20 kts & expect the aircraft to steer as in modern aircraft.
keep the taxi speed down below 12 kts and use half rudder travel to steer & you will see that it
will steer.
I will also be making the Vickers Valetta (Military version of Viking) from this model but not the Varsity at the moment.

This aircraft is part of a series of LTU-aircraft (collection "50 years of excellence"),
starting with the Vickers Viking, through all the LTU aircraft from the past up to the
Airbus A330-200 of today, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of LTU in 2005. These aircraft
will be available soon on www.uliworks.com ( website still down, not yet published due
to lack of time.... )
There are two liveries available with this plane.
INSTALLATION:
Copy the folder named "FSDS2 Vickers Viking" into your aircraft folder of FS2004 or FS2002.
Copy the contents of the "effects"-folder into the respective folder of your FS2004 / 2002.
Put the "Valetta.cab"-file into the respective Gauges-folder of your FS2004 / 2002.
That's it.
